Cardiff
The house that changes hands every July
A big part of CF24 is student and shared housing, which means a rhythm nowhere else has: a house is full for ten months, empty in a week, and needs turning round before the next set of people arrive. That is a one-off clean of a five or six bedroom house with two bathrooms and a kitchen that has had a hard year.
It is quoted the same way as everything else, on bedrooms and bathrooms, at the one-off rate. The number you see is the number, and it does not go up on the day because the oven was worse than expected. If you want the oven done, add it when you get your price.
Why the photographs matter more here than anywhere
If you are a landlord, an agent, or the person on the tenancy who is trying to get a deposit back, the argument is never about whether a clean happened. It is about proving it happened, to somebody who was not there and has an interest in saying it did not.
Every visit produces a report: the list ticked as it was worked, the time on site measured at both ends, photographs of the rooms, and anything skipped with the reason. It is generated from what the cleaner actually did rather than written up afterwards, and you can forward it to whoever is asking.
Terraces, permits and bins
The streets are Victorian terraces on a grid, permit parking, with back lanes that are usually the practical way in. Bin day matters here in a way it does not in the suburbs, so tell us which day it is and the bins go out as part of the visit.
What a landlord or an agent gets
The report is a document you can forward. It carries the date, the time the cleaner arrived and left, every line of the list with its outcome, and photographs taken in the house during the visit.
It is generated from what happened rather than composed afterwards, so it cannot be flattered. If three rooms were done and one was locked, it says three rooms were done and one was locked.
Booking a turnaround for a fixed date
End of tenancy work has a date that cannot move, usually with somebody arriving the same week. Book it as a one-off and the price and the visit length are fixed when you book, so the person holding the keys knows exactly how long the house is occupied by us.
If you need the oven doing as well, and in a house like this you usually do, add it at the same time and the visit is quoted with it in.

If you are out when we come, leave a key or a code. It is held encrypted and opened for one cleaner, for one visit.
How we leave it
The bit you notice
We go the extra mile to make your home feel special. Little touches we know you will enjoy, on every visit.

Towels folded and squared.

The bow on the oven door.

Cushions squared, blankets stacked.

The paper folded, hotel style.

That list is the same one the quote form reads, so if a place is named here you will get a price for it, and if it is not you will get a straight no rather than a call back.
What you get
A photographic report after every visit. What was done, the reason for anything skipped, and how long the cleaner was there.
The same cleaner, named before they arrive. Not a different stranger each time.
Move or cancel any visit, free, until noon the day before. Not a phone call to somebody who will try to talk you out of it.
A price before you commit. Three answers on this page, no phone call, no survey, no card taken.
Our cleaners are not there to get out of the door. They are there to leave your home properly clean.
Every cleaner at The Whistle Co completes two weeks of formal training before their first clean, keeps training, and has their work reviewed regularly. Every room is cleaned to a detailed checklist and the finished work is photographed, so your home is in good hands.
